Jeans for Genes Day is a national day when people wear their jeans to sell merchandise to raise much-needed funds for research into birth defects and diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, and a range of genetic disorders.
On Friday 3 August workplaces, schools and streets become a sea of denim in a united stance against childhood disease.
Every dollar raised on the day helps scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures, to give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.
VOLUNTEER FOR JEANS FOR GENES
On Friday 3 August, volunteers will join together and hit the streets of Australia big cities to sell merchandise and to help raising money for tomorrow’s cures and treatments – for the benefit of children everywhere.
Join to volunteer team to be part of this amazing cause! You can register via the Jeans for Genes website
Why do I need to go to the J4G website? As previous years The Jeans for Genes Day Volunteer Program is managed by Eventeamwork but through a separate CERVIS system. That means that if you are registered on the Eventeamwork CERVIS system you won’t be able to log in to the Jeans for Genes CERVIS system automatically, you need to register a new profile. However if you previously volunteered for Jeans for Genes Day you already have a profile in this separate system.
To log in or to create a volunteer profile to volunteer on Jeans for Genes Day please make sure you are logged out from your Eventeamwork CERVIS account and close the CERVIS window, then follow the above link to Jeans for Genes Day Volunteer Page.
Shifts for Jeans for Genes Day 2018 are not yet available.
Once registered to volunteer you will receive details of shifts via email as soon as they are available.
