Island Light NYE at Clark Island

Located off the tip of prestigious Darling Point near Double Bay in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, the magical Clark Island will be illuminated and shining bright this New Years Eve. This all inclusive package includes a food hamper followed by a gourmet barbecue and a selection of beverages, designed and catered by Sydney’s iconic Nielsen Park. Sit back and relax on a choice of picnic blankets, comfy oversized cushions or table settings while listening to the sounds of Soul Patrol.

Volunteers are hosts, their role includes the following:

  • welcoming patrons at meeting point
  • scanning tickets
  • directing patrons to ferry
  • accompany ferry
  • welcome patrons on the island
  • hand out hamper vouchers
  • assist with general crowd management on the island

Volunteers get to enjoy NYE on Clark Island after their shift and will assist with ushering people to the ferry after midnight and return with the same ferry to Circular Quay.

Delight NYE at Bradleys Head

Located within Sydney Harbour National Park, Bradleys Head will be transformed this New Years Eve into a family friendly playground of light. The park will feel like an enchanted illuminated forest with roving entertainment and theatre to entertain children. Head to the amphitheatre for exceptional and breathtaking views of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Find your own little slice of paradise in the park to spend New Years Eve. This alcohol free zone will ensure everyone can relax in a safe environment.

Volunteers will assist with the following roles assisting the event:

  • ticket scanning
  • crowd management
  • giving information and directions within the precincts

PLEASE NOTE:

The roads in the area will be closed from 3pm. We would recommend to use public transport to get to the event site as there will be no access to leave by car after 3pm.

Volunteers are welcome to stay at Bradleys Head and enjoy the fireworks from this great location after their shift.
