Join thousands of wacky-racers that will run, crawl or even belly-flop their way through 7km of mud-pits, bog-holes and rivers oozing with thick, cold, gooey muck.

Whether you’re a fanatical runner or a self-confessed couch potato, the Mud Run is for everyone.

Getting to your shift

PLEASE NOTE: We have changed the departure location for this volunteer shuttle due to track work taking place on the Western Line between Granville and St Mary’s. The changed pick up location should suit everyone coming from the City and Liverpool way. We have included a morning pick up from Penrith for anyone coming from the West. If you have trouble to get to Rooty Hill Station in time for your shift, please call us on 0477 499 130 prior to Saturday to find a solution.

There is also a free shuttle bus for event participants going from Rooty Hill train station to the event site for the entire day. If you are catching the event shuttle you do not need to register however please allow plenty of time to get to the site as the bus fills up with participants!

Volunteers are of course more than welcome to drive. There will be free parking onsite.

Run for FREE

Volunteer and run for FREE! If you wish to run you will need to book and pay for your ticket using a special volunteer link (provided in your shift confirmation email). After completion of your volunteer shift this payment will then be refunded into your account.

Your run time will be outside of your volunteer shift. The registration link in the confirmation email does not include a specific time. Please plan for the following times for your run in case you are organising this with family and friends not volunteering:

Morning shift volunteers – you will be able to run any time after your shift

Afternoon shifts volunteers – you can enter any wave that starts no later than 2 hours before your volunteer shift. For example if your shift started at 11.30am, you will need to run at 9.30am latest. Remember you need to be showered, clean and ready to go at the start of your volunteer shift.

On the left hand side of the page, you will find a list of each volunteer role and will be able to register for it via the button at the bottom of the page.

If you have any questions, please email us on [email protected].
