The Sunday Age City2Sea will return for its fifth year on Sunday, November 15, 2015. Presented by Westpac, the Melbourne City2Sea is a 15km course from the Arts Centre in the CBD, through St Kilda Road, around the Albert Park Grand Prix track and finishing at the spectacular sea in St Kilda. The event will attract elite runners, joggers and walkers from around Australia, as well as many dressed in novelty themed costumes.
City2Sea is a unique Melbourne experience and getting involved is a must. If you’d like to support the runners, like to engage with the community and are looking for a great day out, why not join the volunteer team!
We are looking for volunteers to help out for 6.5 hours at the City2Sea Expo on Friday 13 November and Saturday 14 November. The expo will be held at the Touring Hall in the Melbourne Museum in Carlton Gardens.
All competitors will be coming to the Expo to pick up their race pack and information. In this role you will be at a registration desk assisting competitors when they pick up their packs. Competitors will also be able to drop their bags for event day and during your shift you may be assisting at the bag drop off point as well. This shift will be busy and fast paced! You will be required to have an eye for detail for looking up competitors names and numbers.
