The Kathmandu Urban is part adventure race, part scavenger hunt with a mix of the amazing race. It is a completely new format of racing that will take teams of two through the heart of the host city. Competitors will get to visit some of the cities most famous landmarks, as well as suburban areas, while completing a variety of activities along the way.

Please see below an overview of the roles available. You will receive a detailed briefing for each of the roles prior to your shift.
You will be assisting with registration for participants, check their name against the competitor list and issue t-shirts, race numbers and event information. After an extended break you will assist at the Finish Line with handing out goodie bags.
You will look after a participants’ checkpoint for the event. You will be briefed on the specific task on event day. You might be responsible to give them a clue or coordinate a game for example.
Knowledge of how to use a Two Way Radio is an advantage.
You need to be flexible, like surprises 🙂 and be happy to help in any position at the event. You may become a checkpoint marshal, help at registration or in the cloak room, hand out water or support the team at the finish line.
