Jeans for Genes Day is a national day when people wear their jeans to raise much-needed funds for research into birth defects and diseases such as cancer, epilepsy, and a range of genetic disorders.
On Friday August 2nd workplaces, schools and streets everywhere will be awash with denim in a united stance against childhood disease.
Every dollar raised on the day will help scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures, to give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.
Around 2000 volunteers will join together on the 2nd of August to help raise money for tomorrow’s cures and treatments – for the benefit of children everywhere.
The Jeans for Genes Day Volunteer Program is managed by Eventeamwork but through a separate CERVIS system. That means that if you are registered on the Eventeamwork CERVIS system you won’t be able to log in to the Jeans for Genes CERVIS system automatically, you need to register a new profile.
* This separate system was implemented to make it easier for volunteers to see Jeans for Genes Day shifts.
To register your profile to volunteer on Jeans for Genes Day please make sure you are logged out from your Eventeamwork CERVIS account and close the Cervis window, then follow the link to Jeans for Genes Day Volunteering
